PUZZLE is a sculpture installation of four freestanding, hand formed, stainless steel puzzle-like pieces. This installation serves as an absurd meeting. Fitting in, connection, and reflection. These pieces contemplate the desire to connect and conform.
Perhaps from another glance, they represent parts of life that reflect our desires. In both cases, this gorgeous nature setting is influencing them and allowing them to transform. They loosen up and connect to themselves, to each other, to nature. The story continues to unfold. What story is unfolding for you?
I created my puzzle sculptures because they reflect the complexity and beauty of human connection, individuality, and unity. Each piece represents a story, a person, or an idea, and together they form something greater than the sum of their parts. For me, this process is a way to explore how seemingly separate elements can coexist harmoniously, much like people and their relationships.
When I design and assemble these sculptures, I’m reminded that every fragment, no matter how small or irregular, has an essential place in the whole. This mirrors my belief that everyone has a role and a purpose in life. My work is a celebration of both individuality and community, and through it, I hope to inspire reflection on how we connect, collaborate, and find our place in the bigger picture.
